Currently in Chicago — June 14, 2024: Sunny days ahead

The weather, currently.

After some potential rain in the early morning hours, Friday will dawn clear and sunny. Saturday will be slightly warmer, around the mid-70s, before we head into a string of over-90 days next week.

I grew up in in San Francisco in the 60s: love beads, tie dye, VW camper, the whole nine yards. This old hippie was thrilled to discover the Full Moon Jam when we relocated to Chicago, because hot summer nights were made for drums and juggling and glow sticks (this event is free to all, kid-friendly, leave-no-trace, and sober).
